If a pet is being spay or neutered, then their food and water will be pulled. If a pet has already been spayed or neutered, then the sign could let people know not to take pet outside to play, or to not use cat litter for cats, or as an indication to not bathe until the stitches are removed. Either way, these signs let all employees and volunteers know to do, or not to do something for pets who have been spayed and neutered.
